Manokamana Purti Ashtalakshmi Puja

(Manokamana – Means Fulfillment of your lifelong desires and ambitions)

In our worldly life, blessings of goddess Maa Lakshmidevi is essential. We acquire wealth with the blessings of Maa Lakshmidevi, and it results into peace, joy and happiness in our family. We need to worship Maa Lakshmidevi with deep devotion, to appease the goddess and get blessings for a happy and prosperous life.

          Goddess Maa Lakshmidevi is manifested in eight forms (:i), known as “Ashtalakshmi”. Lakshmidevi, through these eight forms, when worshipped with devotion, blesses the devotee and his family with happy, peaceful and prosperous life.

          Eight forms of Ashtalakshmi are as follows –

  1. Dhanalakshmi – This form of Lakshmidevi bestows (gives) wealth and prosperity to the devotee. This form is also known as Vaibhavlakshmi.
  1. Santanlaksmi – Santanlakshmi’s blessings gives us a healthy and intelligent child. Similarly, our present child also grows as a healthy and intelligent child, with the blessings of Santanlakashmi.
  1. Dhairyalakshmi – Patience is absolutely essential, to get success in life. Only a person with great patience, can surmount (get victory) over extremely difficult situations (circumstances) in life. Blessings of Dhairyalakshmi gives us patience to get victory in difficult situations in life.

 

  1. Gajalakshmi –  Gaja (Elephant) is a symbol of “Royal Splendor”. The white elephant, seen in this form of Gajalakshmi, belongs to Bhagwan Indradev. Worshipping Gajalakshmi brings about “Royal Splendor” in the life of the devotee.
  1. Vidyalakshmi – Vidyalakshmi’s blessings helps us to “Transform our educational qualification into a gainful profession”, and thereby convert our knowledge into wealth. Worshipping Vidyalakshmi gives us blessings to make rapid progress in our professional life.
  1. Vijaylakshmi – Whatever we do in our life, to get “Vijay” (Victory)” in that field, we need to worship Vijaylakshmi, and get blessings to get immense success.
  1. Dhanyalakshmi – We get the blessings of “Akshaypatra”, by worshipping the goddess “Dhanyalakshmi”. This blessing of “Akshaypatra” ensures that our family is always rich in foodgrains and other supplies of livelihood.

  1. Aadilakshmi – According to “Brahmanda Puran” Aadilakshmi is the creator of Brahma – Vishnu – Mahesh, who are the creator, operator and destroyer of this universe. We get the blessings of all “Devi- Devtas,” by worshipping Maa Aadilakshmi.
